Neglected Sky is an award winning youth animated (from fifth Annual Media That Matters Film Festival) Global Warming Interpretation by director John Cooney.
The film traces the ordeals of a small black stripe as it tries to stop environmentally disastrous acts from happening. The black stripe comes down from space in order to save a penguin from a melting iceberg, stop a man from driving a polluting car, and then successfully lobby the President of the United States to sign the Kyoto Protocol. The moral of the story is that even the simplest person (a black line) can show the courage and ambition to tackle the world’s problems.
