Villanova- Up
Villanova is a streaky team, meaning they might get bumped in round one, or they could ride some hot shooting to a Final Four berth in Texas. The Wildcats are almost a lock to win the Big East after Creighton coughed up two losses against Georgetown and Xavier. Look for Darrun Hilliard and Ryan Arciadiacono to lead the Cats deep into the postseason.

Syracuse- Down
How the mighty have fallen. Cuse has lost four of five, including a stomping at Virginia that ended the teams hopes of an ACC title. After looking like the undisputed number one squad, Jim Boeheim and co. are reeling. It reminds me of the 2011 Villanova squad that lost their last five after starting out 19-2 and lost in round one.
Projected seed- 3

Michigan- Up
Michigan clinched the Big Ten title Monday night after a beat down in Champaign, Illinois where the Wolves spanked the Fighting Illini 84-53. With Glenn Robinson III finally showing some of his NBA potential from last season’s tourney, the Wolverines could be headed for another deep run.
Projected seed- 3

Kentucky- Down
The most overrated team of all time? Is that fair? 40-0 seems like a long time ago, as Kentucky is stumbling into March. The ‘Cats sit at 22-8, which isn’t so bad, but pales in comparison to the expectations that were set at the start of the season by college basketball fans. There isn’t enough time for Julius Randle, the Harrison twins, and James Young to iron out their problems. We shouldn’t have expected as much from a group of freshmen.
Projected seed- 6

Virginia- Up
After being outshone by their ACC counterparts in New York, Virginia has gotten a lot of attention the last week after winning the ACC Title. Led by Malcolm Brogdon and Joe Harris, the 25-5 Cavaliers are still in the running for a number one seed, which could be achieved with a strong showing at next weeks ACC Tournament.
Projected seed- 2
