Hello! It's that time of the week again, Monday morning and the weekend is well and truly over - sob! It's now time to start planning next weekend!
This weekend was great, although the weather wasn't quite as good as last week. We went into Kenilworth AGAIN as it's best for charity shops, the stuff's so much nicer - also we had to pop over there to see Kingsley's Grandad about his car. I bought lot's of thing's from the charity shops, I don't have any picture's but I will update this post when I take some! We then went to the Rocking Horse Cafe for lunch, it was my first day of being allowed fish after 6 or so weeks of being veggie! I was always a through and through meat eater but I honestly haven't missed meat at all, however, I had missed fish - a lot, so it's great to be able to eat it again! I had a tuna mayo and cheese Jacket with a cappucino, Kingsley had a full English and then we had cakes! I had a rock cake and Kingsley had cherry pie and custard and we shared a pot of tea - tea and cake's how very British.
Then after a very long evening of me playing Emily the Taxi service for my mom and her friends (they were going out; drunk gaggling girls in your car is so much fun when you're a fairly new driver - not! It's a bit depressing when you're more mature than the 40-something's. The return lift was even worse, my mom decided to bring a full glass of red wine into the car with her right near my WHITE Kirstie Allsopp cushion, she thought I was a major killjoy) we were hungry again and got Chinese take-out (I had Prawns not just vegetables, wahooo!).
Sunday was a bit more relaxed; I sold some thing's on eBay, tidied a bit of my room (not enough), did some thing's online that I needed to do and then later we went out for a 'Sunday Tollybop' - I'm only putting that in for Kingsley's benefit. A carvery with Kingsley's best friend (of course, I had the veggie option) and then we played pool - I played it very badly. It was nice to be able to have a couple of glasses of wine and not have to worry about driving, I had totally forgot what it was like to be able to rely on your boyfriend to drive, it's great!
Anyway, these picture's were taken on Sunday and I'm wearing an oldNew Lookblack jumper,Sainsbury'stight's,H&Mwedge boots (similarhere), charity shop belt,Fred Perryskirt, charity shop handbag (similarhere), Phantom of the Opera necklace (I'm obsessed with POTO!) fromeBayand midi ring fromeBay(similarhere). Although I wish I had a red belt here, to go with my lips and nails because red would look soo much better, I also want some red shoes but I don't have any; I have seen some I like though from Topshop, *hinthint* (it's my birthday in just under 3 weeks). My Lipstick is just aCollection 2000 Lasting Colour one in Valentine, I also have Queen of Hearts, but I think it's a little bit dark for my pale skin! It's cheap and cheerful and not the best lipstick I've used but it is great as an everyday one if you apply a few layers and blot; as it's got really good pigmentation, but it lacks in staying power, so blot blot blot! My nail polish isBarry M nail paint in Brit Red, another cheap and cheerful, but you can't go wrong with Barry M as there is a great selection!I've also been using my new Body Shop BB Cream and I love it, it's really kind to my skin, so I'll do a review of a couple of new bits of makeup I have got soon.
Here's for another tedious week in the office!
