Nature Republic Hawaiian Fresh Clay Pack Review

By Eggskingoals

I have tried a lot of clay packs since my teenage years. Clay packs usually remove excessive sebum on the skin, to clean the pores, and to make skin feel fresh. These clay packs also work well for people who are prone to acne due to excess sebum production. Also, most of the clay masks give cooling sensation, thus reduces the temperature of the skin. So these are very refreshing on a hot summer day. Since, I have dry skin-I don't use them often because they leave my skin super dry, and flaky. But, I have tiny pores on the inner corner of my face, and sebaceous filaments on my nose. So, I like to use clay packs every now and then to keep my skin clean and fresh.

Today's review is on Nature Republic Hawaiian Fresh Clay Pack. This pack claims to tighten pores, and makes skin fresh, clean, and smooth. The main ingredients in this clay pack are Kaolin, Bentonite Clay, Noni extract, Hibiscus Flower Extract, and Soluble Collagen.

Some other ingredients in this product that worth mentioning are Licorice root extract and Ceramide 3.

You can find the cosDNA analysis here. Stearic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Triethanol Amine, Algin and Butylene Glycol are marked as acne and irritant triggers.

First thing I like about Nature Republic Hawaiian Fresh Clay Pack is its smell. It is so fresh, and delicious. It comes housed in a green colored tub packaging. The pack is neither too thick nor too thin. It applies smoothly, and evenly on the skin. I find it much easier to spread on the skin than the Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask. So you don't have to pull your skin while applying the mask. It gives a cooling sensation on the skin when applied which is very refreshing on a hot day

I did not leave it on my skin until it completely dries out. I just wait about 10 to 15 minutes, and wash it off. After washing, my face felt smooth, and pores looked cleaner and small. Also, my kin did not feel tight. But, it leaves a slight white cast on the skin after washing. I think it is because of the Titanium Dioxide in the ingredients list, which is placed at 6th place in the ingredients list. This makes you feel like your skin got brighter. But, it is just temporary. Overall it is a good clay pack to clean your pores, if you can ignore the white cast.

Pros:
  • Smells amazing.
  • Spreads easily on the skin.
  • Skin feels fresh, and clean.
  • Makes pore appear small.
  • Brightens skin.
Cons:
  • Brightens skin just temporary.
  • Contains some common acne triggers.

You can buy Nature Republic Hawaiian Fresh Clay Pack from Koreadepart for $9.04 for 65ml.
