Introduction
Raynaud's disease is a disease in which the spasm (vasospasm) of small arteries causes the reduced blood flow which inhibits the blood flow to affected areas. It often turns the affected parts to blue and feel cold and numb and as warmth is provided to the affected area the circulation improves and the affected area turns red or swells. Raynaud's disease mostly attacks on fingers and toes but sometimes may also occur on nose, lips, ears and even nipples. After warming the area the normal blood flow is back at the affected area and it may take 15-20 minutes to normalize the area. In Raynaud's disease the affected area first turns white then turns blue and a person may feel cold and numb as warmth is provided to the affected area and circulation improves. Raynaud's disease is mainly present in people living in cold climates.

As there are adverse effects of allopath and by ayurveda we can maintain the balance of doshas i.e. pitta and kapha control the disease. This disease can be treated with allopathic medicines but it results in many health complications whereas ayurvedic medicine provides excellent health benefits with the treatment of disease and the main purpose of ayurvedic medicine is to diminish a disease with its roots. The concepts of universal interconnection, the body's constitution (prakriti), and Doshas are the primary basis of ayurvedic medicine. Goals of treatment aid the person by eliminating impurities, reducing symptoms, increasing resistance to disease, reducing worry, and increasing harmony in life as described by Acharyas Charak and Shusruta in samhitas.
