NaPoWriMo Poem for Day 2

By Shanesbookblog @shanesbookblog

Poem Entitled “If life was only a game”

If Life was just a game…

I would surely have the lowest score

unused coins battered badly washing ashore

oceans full of soaked remedy’s, Ignorance galore

teetering darkness while sharpening dull swords

Wounds caused by death gloom and doom

flowers decaying before having there god given chance to bloom

why do some die young and others get extra life’s

sometimes I think death cheats the best people and lets the good ones die

time for happiness to take hold no more regret kept inside

To my dear beloved brother please stick close by and don’t leave my side

without you here with me I am not prepared for life’s reckless ride
