#MyGirlyParts A Year in Review #2014

As most of you know, 2014 for My Girly Parts and me personally, was a roller coaster of a ride.

A Few Highlights

• I was depressed
• I had no motivation to blog
• I was less inspired early on in the year
• I had marital issues that rocked my entire year
• My health was good
• My career took a few hits
• My Girly Parts moved to a free platform versus self-host

All these things affected not only my blog, My Girly Parts, but the Community as well. My posts took a turn towards:

• Infidelity
• Forgiveness
• Marriage
• Relationships
• Men
• Menopause

However, My Girly Parts still survived.

Why?

Because of loyal friends and readers like yourselves. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. I don’t believe I could have survived this year without your friendship, comfort, and support.

Now onto the stats!

How Did They Find Me?

I’ve always known Twitter to be my top referrer as well as Facebook. But did I actually think Triberr was working that well for me? And thank you to “CougarBunny” for all the referrals!

What About My Top Commenters!

Am I surprised to see these beautiful ladies names? Absolutely not! So to each one of you, thank you so much for all the My Girly Parts support! I hope you’ve enjoyed the journey and will continue to stick around.

Let’s Take a Look at the Most Viewed Posts (not most comments)

This surprised me. It appears I have either great content that either had catchy names or was content people could relate to in November and October. When I look at the posts, four (4) out of five (5) were about Men and one (1) about Sex.

This leads me to wonder as Women do we want to know more about Men and Relationships versus Menopause or Menstruation?

Where Did My Visitors Come From?

The United States I can definitely understand, however, to my knowledge I only know a few people from Canada and India. Are these folks visiting My Girly Parts via Canadian and India blogs? And if so, which ones?

Most Popular Post of 2014

Is it hard to believe that my post on Ebola, Do You Feel Safe With the Ebola Virus Spreading in the United States was most popular? I do find that one amazing!

Overall, after the year that I had and again, I know it affected My Girly Parts, I honestly don’t think we had as bad of a year as I thought. With that said, I think there may still be a need to continue on with the My Girly Parts articles and possible gear them more towards what our readers want?

Will I be able to obtain this with my new launch of Just Like A Fine Wine? Possibly. I have set a posting schedule of two (2) days a week for Just Like A Fine Wine. Hopefully, I can do one (1) or two (2) days a week on My Girly Parts. Think I should give it a try?

I think I’ll try the once a week, and we can go from there. I will closely analyze data between my two (2) sites and hopefully neither will be affected other than in a positive way.
