My Worst PR Experience EVER-The Heights of Unprofessionalism

By Get Set Blush @GetSet_Blush
Okay, to start off
I am a beauty blogger and I do have some ethics.
Okay, I am not talking much of this but I am totally frustrated with a particular brand's PR.
My Worst PR Experience EVER-The Heights of Unprofessionalism The brand is NEXCARE and the PR agency is the InteractiveAvenues.com. The PR who contacted me was Miss. K Saxena (Please ignore the full name)
This was running in my brain past few weeks and finally I am exploding here. I couldn't take any longer and I have lost my patience.
This was started in September!
Sep 2nd
This started one fine day when she mailed me on the collaboration with the brand. I was good with the idea of writing two blogposts for the brand and which I did.
Sep 19th
After some constant emails communication, she said she would send out the samples of Acne Patches.
Also, she asked me for my private details regarding my bank account which I gave her. I have also filled her vendor registration form.
Sep 24th
She asked me to wait for the payment and also not to get into the activity.
Oct 2nd
I have got the samples.
Oct 9th
I was asked to fill the vendor details form once again! Only after few days they accepted.
Oct 18th
I could test and write a review. Since these are one time usage and tiny I could test them out in few uses. Before I write my own review, she asked me for a preview and edited few things here and there.
She again asked me to send the invoice so that she would initiate the payment.
Oct 21st
She called me and asked me to print out the invoice, fill it and send the hardcopy to her company address.
Which I could do in two days.
Nov 4th
I have emailed her asking for payment, She said she received the hardcopy and she would initiate the payment the next week.
Nov 15th
I have emailed her again regarding the same, she didn't reply.
Nov 17th
I have emailed her again at least asking for a response.
This time, she replied
and guess what she said??
My Worst PR Experience EVER-The Heights of Unprofessionalism I have sent the form again.
Nov 28th
I emailed her to know the status and as expected no reply.
Dec 6th
I again emailed her and called her to have an update she said she would do it ASAP.
Dec 18th
I have emailed her and no response.
Meanwhile I have called her to say that it is really high time that I waited and I told her that I may have to share the same with my fellow bloggers. She was real rude when I said this and she said , I have two more campaigns but I am sure that I am not approaching you for them. I said it is ok.
My Worst PR Experience EVER-The Heights of Unprofessionalism

I have finally emailed her again on Jan 6th

Just to let her know that I am behind her.
Jan 8th
She said, she is reprocessing the whole thing again and asked me to wait for a week.
I asked for a date in next email for which I received no response.
Until now, I am not paid for the post.
Yesterday I asked her if I can expect something to be done but she assured me to settle down the payment by today which she totally ignored.
Thank you so much girl :) You are really kind.
But I am not so kind to work with you again.

Now I totally understand why you should get paid before you work for someone.

Hereafter, I am only accepting sponsored reviews/posts from only the known brands and PRs.
This is my first and hoping to be the last experience of this sort.
Apart from all these, I have got a chance to work with some super cool brands, whose timeline is perfect and that's we can name that true professionalism.
Be careful Girls!
