Winter’s here with its glacials and bitter colds, this means it’s time to think about the changes we make in the skin care regimen. All the wind, snow and frost that make a wonderful ‘Winter in Its Glory’ picture for any packaging, can easily make any skin go mental. Therefore, protect it every way you can. Here’s what I use to make my wintertide experiences enjoyable.
My cleansing starts with Bioderma Atorerm PP Ultra Rich Foaming Gel for body and face. It’s designed especially for extremely dry to atopic skin and it does brilliant job cleansing without stripping it off all essential defenses. Bioderma Micell Solution is perfect to remove my make up; it’s very gentle and surprisingly potent.
Moisturizing well during chilly weather is vital so I go for CaudalieVinosource Moisture Recovery Cream and Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet. Mixing in a little of Caudalie Teint Divin makes my skin glow and gives it a bit of healthy tan. The under-eye area is very delicate and I pay a lot of attention to its safety, my recommendation is La Roche-PosayActive C Eye Cream in the evening and Nuxe Nirvanesque Eye Contour Cream in the morning or you can just pick one, they are both gorgeous. Lastly, Estee LauderAdvanced Night Repair as an overnight treatment is a must for me to keep the skin in a tip top condition.
Exfoliating is crucial as well, it effects greatly the way my skin looks so I cling to it during every time of year. Now I’m really into Caudalie Crème Gommage Douce, probably the mildest exfoliating cream I’ve ever tried. If you are looking for something that wouldn’t leave your skin feeling sore and stripped after a peeling this product can be exactly what you need.
Let's not forget about lips! Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Moisturizing Stick is fabulous when I’m inside but when I go out there’s nothing better than BobbyBrown Lip Balm, it keeps my lips silken and kissable.
