Since having the Little A's my phone has become a big part of our family life. Not only does it help me to take photographs and videos to record all of those precious memories, it helps me stay in touch with my friends easily via the use of social media apps. Up until last August I never really had a particularly good phone. My previous phones had taken OK photographs but had been incredibly slow to load and getting on the internet whilst out and about was practically impossible! When it was time to upgrade I knew that I wanted something which took great photographs and wouldn't take ages to load. I decided on a Samsung Galaxy S3 after some advice from Big Mr A.
In January I dropped a mug on my phone and smashed the screen. Whilst it was away being repaired I felt lost without it! I take all of my photographs for my blog with my phone as it is really easy to upload them ready for my reviews and my Project 365 posts. I had to revert back to using my camera and it was really time consuming downloading all of the photographs!
As well as not being able to use my phone for photographs, I also felt a bit lost not having my social media apps to hand easily. Being a Stay at Home Mum I find that having my online friends to moan to chat to can really break up my day and makes me feel like I am part of the outside world!
I was completely lost without my phone and was extremely relieved when it returned home a week later.
Since then I have been looking for a really hardwearing case that will prevent any future accidents. Although I have an OK case for it, I still feel that it is not as protected as it could be. Whilst out shopping at the weekend I went into the Vodafone store to see if they had any hardwearing cases that would make sure it was completely protected. I had a good browse but they didn't really have anything that took my fancy on that occasion.
With Little Mr A often asking to play games on my phone whilst we are out and about, I need something that will be able to cope with little fingers as well as being hardwearing in case of any more falling mugs!
I love being able to record the Little A's growing up through my phone. I often post photos on Instagram or on Facebook. This is great for us to record our memories and for family that live far away to see the Little A's growing up too. It is lovely being able to look back through the photographs on my phone and seeing what we got up to, whether that be a day out, holiday or just an everyday occurrence that I wanted to capture.
It does make me wonder what we did before smartphones!
