My Perfect Wedding’ Presenter Georgina Mbira: I Got Married Without a Wedding but Will Never Ever Take a Loan to Wed

Georgina Mbira hosts ‘My Perfect Wedding’ which airs on Maisha Magic East. The irony is that Georgina herself is yet to wed despite the fact that she hosts a wedding show.Hosting ‘My Perfect Wedding’ has given Georgina a lot of experience and lessons. She opened up about her personal life during an interview with the Nairobian.Georgina said that she would never ever take a bank loan for a wedding. She revealed that she wants a destination wedding which will be catered for by money from her own saving.“I am a married mother of two boys. I am yet to have my white wedding, but when I do, it will be dreamy. I would like a destination wedding – tulips, white lilies… let my imagination go wild!” said Georgina.Georgina Mbira

Drama during shoot

Georgina also spoke about all kind of drama she witnesses during the shoot of her wedding show;“Behind the scenes is where all the fun is. We have witnessed several altercations, but we have to walk away and leave them to sort their issues first,” said Georgina.Adding that she deals with annoying brides and grooms by;“I remind them that it is them who invited us to cover their wedding. So, there is no need for them to be bride or groomzillas. But thankfully, those are rare instances and far between. However, when I am faced with one, I just suck it in.”
