My Clothes Show Live Experience 2015 - Never Again
As some people might have seen on my christmas wish list from a few days ago  that i was attending
this years clothes show live as i sometimes go every year and i have missed a few due to the lack of funds and not enough planning. In the beginning of this year i wasn't gonna save up and go because it would just be a total waste of time and money to go so i didn't start to save for it , As the time was going fast and i had bills to pay i had no choice to book a ticket and take myself there i was looking forward about going this year. The problem was that i had no money to go with as i never ever saved and i ended up having some for a christmas present to go with, I was starting to feel very unwell before i went to the event and things just got worse for me and i wish that i never ever attended now!
I woke up on the Saturday 5th December at 8.30 am as i had to get ready and get my hair washed and get ready, as i woke up i felt so unwell like i had the flu coming i felt like all my bones was killing me and i wasn't gonna go because i felt so ill. As i was getting ready for the shower i ended up being sick and this made me feel a bit better but nothing massive and had a lovely hot shower and got ready for the event, I had ordered some new trousers to go with but they hadn't arrived by this time and by 11.00am i was ready to catch the 11.50am train to Birmingham International as the fashion show didn't start until 4:15pm.  I was dropped off at the train station by 11.30am and then i was given my christmas present and then i went in to get my train tickets and walked over to the platform to catch my train. As i was waiting for the train i called my dad to tell him that i was doing fine and i would call him later on when i arrived. As i was on the phone the train had arrived and as usual i couldn't find a seat and then i walked though the train and i managed to get one in the end, The journey felt kinda long and by now it was 12.05pm and i was trying to catch the 12.36pm to the NEC but as we was late getting into Birmingham i missed it and i arrived at 1.00pm. I was kinda mad and i had to wait around for a hour now for the next one. As i was walking up to the new new street station i was shocked to see how big it was and to see so many people in there, It had been massively improved with more free space and shops and places to eat and seats always free and all around the station. I was then looking around some of the new shops and of course the new Oliver Bonas store as i wanted a item from there,
As i was walking around to see what time my next train was i had to put my ticket though the barrier about 2 times for me to get though and by now i had found a train to get to the NEC at it was nearly 2.00pm and i managed to get on the train with some time to spare and as usual it was packed out with people and i had to sit on the luggage space and by now i was starting to feel very ill and worried because what was gonna happen next for me.I got to the NEC about 2.30pm and i went to the wrong place to get to the clothes show and i had to go and get my goodie bag and then i wanted to get into the stalls but people was filming in there so we had to wait for a few minutes. I managed to get into the clothes show at 3.00 pm something like that and the people i saw there i couldn't believe it, I was looking around to see what the lines was like for the goodie bags and other items and it was a very long waiting line so i thought that i would come back in a few mins. As i was seeing what was there and the stalls and i thought forget this i am gonna go to the Bullring instead. So by now it was 3.30 pm i was feeling very ill and nearly collapsed when i was waiting for my change from a stall and i was asked if i was ok and i replied yes to the people there on the stall. I had managed to spend £30 on makeup from W7 and then on Barry M over £80.00 and people was pushing me and bumped into me and squeezed into see the products and by now i had enough by now, So i had a look at a few more stalls and by now it was 4.00 pm and i walked out and i wanted to go home i had enough. I was then waiting for the train to get back to the bullring as i wanted to go to Superdrug and get a few things and yet again i was standing for 9 minutes and by now my back was killing me and i was getting worse and worse.
By 4.15pm i was on my way to the bullring to get a few more things where i came out of the wrong bit of the station and i had to walk about 20 mins to get to the shop where i wanted to go, By now i was so weak that i was worried and panicking and i wanted my friend with me and i said to myself that you can do it you can do it and get there, In the end i reached the shop and it was manic in there and i had the same issue that i had in the clothes show people pushing around me and trying to get the things that i wanted. So it was now nearly 5.00pm and then i checked it out and then i headed to the last shop witch was build a bear to get my minion and i was in there for a hour as they was so packed out and it was very slow service and the woman in the shop who i was talking to said to me you look very pale and warned out are you feeling alright ? i said to the woman i am ok i will be heading home in a min and i should be going to bed, I walked from the shop around about 5.30 pm and as there was so many people  in the bullring i had to stop and sort out my stuff and get my train tickets sorted and someone shouted at me and i was gonna say something but i thought it was better for me to leave it and get home as fast as i could i felt even worse when this woman shouted at me.
By 6.00pm i was waiting on the platform waiting for my train and i had to sit down as i felt so ill that i actually collapsed and i didn't even know that i collapsed because everything was so strange to me and everyone was very nice and pleasant towards me about it and told me that i should get home straight away, I had a drink and then a drunk person asked me for some money. I walked away from them and stood elsewhere on the platform. The train arrived at 6.30pm and i would get home at 7.20pm as i was on the train there was no seats and i had to stand yet again and i had now felt so weak that i collapsed yet again on the train again and i had 3 people who looked after me and told me that i was gonna be ok, This happened as we was leaving New street station and i was panicking shaking and i wanted someone with me and my back was totally gone and my right leg was completely dead.
As i was approaching the station i said thank you to the people who looked after me and told me that i was gonna be ok and i was fine after i saw my mom and got in the car to go home, I had no food since 11.00 am on that day and while i was there i survived on one packet of crips from 11.00am until 7.36pm and i think that half of it was caused by that but when i am like that i have no feeling in me to go and get something to eat and i had the money on me but i just didn't feel it.
I was very disappointed that the train company's doesn't provide a lot of  help & support for the disabled people like me and they should take more pride and attention to people like me because we have more disabilities then others and its the same with the clothes show they should also provide care and support for the disabled as soon as next year, I will make a complaint regarding my visit and to see what i can do for next year's visit, As i have back and spinal issues by back was actually killing me and this is what made me collapse 2 times in total as i was in a lot of pain,
The clothes show live event should take more attention to disabled people and offer support to the paying customers. I didn't enjoy my event this year at all i was very disappointed with every thing.
