Hope you've all had a great Easter weekend! I know I did, as I was busy celebrating my 24th birthday :-D On Friday I spent the day with friends. First stop was La Trappiste, a lovely french themed bar/ restaurant which has a great laid-back atmosphere, so much so that we spent three hours in there!
I've been in hibernation mode for what feels like a lifetime this winter, so it was great catching up with Erin and Nicole. Sometimes all you need is a good old chin-wag with the girls, and it really was a chilled out girly day :-)
We met up with Helen, her boyfriend Owen, and Sam and went for a drink in town then back to mine for home made raspberry, strawberry, and lime cocktails. I still cant believe I didn't get one single picture of the cocktails that we made! I even tried coating the rim of the glasses with sugar so that they looked all professional... but it kinda just made more mess. It was really fun though!After the cocktails, a few of us went back into town for some dancing and the rest of the night became a sparkly, giggly haze.
On Saturday I had a cozy lie in watching Bette Davis films, and discovered that Bucks Fizz is a fantastic hangover cure!Tom took me for a romantic lunch in town after work and we both had the yummiest steak sandwiches followed by Eaton Mess ice cream!
We then went to my mums house for the afternoon and she surprised me with an Easter themed chocolate Mini Egg cake (see second photo!) which was amazing!
Lastly, I thought I share a sneak peak of my new dressing table that my parents got me for my birthday! I absolutely love it and will do a full post on it very soon so stay tuned.
All in all I had a fantastic birthday weekend, one of the best i've had in years and want to thank everyone who made it special :-)
