Being a first time Mum I had no idea what I was in for. I mean I knew life would change and that I would change but I dont think I was prepared for all the little things that would challenge me. Like finding cute and chic breast feeding friendly outfits, or clothes that hide those lumpy bumpy bits, wobbly tums and after having a Caesar clothing that sits above the scar and underwear that leaves me comfortable and supported. Its been a steep learning curve and one I have taken as a personal challenge.
Here are my tips for creating a functional post baby wardrobe..
Something that makes you feel pretty and feminine, for me this was a pleated silk skirt.. Link
Singlets, underneath everything. They offer you some modesty and support. I love these from Glassons, link
Button up tops, these are essential for breast feeding and even if you not they are so easy to throw on and look chic. I love this one from Seed, link
Invest in Jeans, or comfortable pants. I chose to buy a few pairs of pull on elastic waist pants. Like these from Sussan, link . They are easy to pull on and very flattering. Although I am def a fan of frocks with all the bending over and breast feeding I have def found it easier to pull on pants and a comfy top when heading out with little bebe.
