MUA Liquid Eyeliner shade 5
MUA is a relatively new brand that has become pretty well established in the budget beauty market in a short period of time. I read a lot of blog posts about MUA and I'm excited to try out their Love Hearts nail polish, as everyone seems to be raving about it. I have to admit I have tried a few of their products but have never been very impressed but the range is very limited in my local store. When I was in Manchester I noticed that the MUA section in Superdrug was a lot better stocked than my local store so I thought I'd give the brand another go and opted for their liquid eyeliner in shade 5.
This eyeliner only cost me £1 and in my opinion the MUA eyeliner definitely offers great value for money and delivers a lot on its £1 price tag. The main plus point of this product is how pigmented it is. You can achieve a well lined eye with just one stroke and if you like a thicker line it is easy to build. It is pretty quick drying and the formula is a good consistency, not too thick or too runny. It is also really long wearing and give a full days wear without fading or creasing. I also really love the simplicity of the MUA packaging. The silver on black looks simple and sleek and looks far more expensive than its minimal price tag.
MUA wand
The one negative of this product is the nib on the wand. It is quite long and thin making it a little difficult to get a really straight, professional finish. However, I think that perhaps I am being a little bit picky here, because for a pound this is a great product that I will definitely repurchase in the future.
