This is not the first time I have visited Monty's but it is the only time I have taken my camera and managed to snap some shots. I first visited Monty's Lounge when it first opened with a few of my friends and we ordered a ridiculous amount of delicious food including a Mediterranean vegetable platter. Unfortunately they no longer have these sharing platters on the menu, however there is plenty more food on offer which is not to be missed. This time we ordered burgers, one vegetable one and meaty. The vegetable burger was made up of Mediterranean style vegetables roasted with pesto and served in a brioche bun with mozzarella, tomato, red onion, lettuce, and gherkin instead of a chickpea patty which is what you normally get when you order the veggie option. I didn't have any of the meaty burger but I am told it was very juicy and delicious. In addition to the brioche bun burgers, the plate was filled with home made chips seasoned with rosemary which stole the show for me. If you love burgers too then be sure to visit Monty's on a Tuesday as they do buy one get one free on all burgers. If you are not in the mood for food then their jam jar cocktails are equally delcious and I would highly recommend trying "Garden Party". Visit their website, facebook and twitter for more info.
