POST OP/PROCEDURES/FOLLOW UP/PRE OP
9:45 to 10:15am: Post operation follow up with female patient, age 14. Patient had Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Rhinoplasty and Septoplasty six days ago. Patient had minimal bruising, splint came off smoothly and the daughter and mother were thrilled. Patient is starting new school in fall and wanted to have a new look in doing so.
Rhinoplasty’s on patients in their mid-teens is common, as this is a time period in which patients begin to form insecurities about their noses. Dr. Guida performs cosmetic rhinoplasty on teenage patients on a weekly basis.
9:45 to 10:15am: Post operation follow up with female patient, early 60′s. Patient had earlobe repair preformed by Dr. Guida.
Patient had a facelift on the West Coast a few years back which was done incorrectly and completely erased her earlobes. The result of the botched surgery were her pulled down earlobes, often referred to as “pixie ears.” This deformation of the earlobe is one of the most revealing signs of plastic surgery, in which avoiding this complication requires the ability of a skilled surgeon.
Dr. Guida had to recreate the patients entire earlobes, which required a two hour surgery. In reconstructing her earlobes Dr. Guida also had to tighten the skin around her neckline.
10:15 to 10:45am: Post operation appointment with male patient. Patient had Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and Septoplasty.
11 to 11:30am: Office procedures on female patient, early 50′s. Patient had Restylane injections in lips and chin area to remove wrinkles and to give a fuller lip. Restylane injections result in a bolder lip when the vermilion border (area between lips and the skin) is accentuated.
11:15 to 11:45am: Office procedure on male patient who is a former patient (Rhinoplasty). Patient had Botox injections in his crows feet/smile lines.
Patient underwent Rhinoplasty a few years ago. Patient is above average in height and had a large nose, which made him very self conscious. Dr. Guida performed surgery to minimize his profile.
11:30 to 12pm: Pre-operation appointment with female patient. Patient to have a Rhinoplasty.
12 to 12:30pm: Follow up with female patient. Patient had a Blepharoplasty on her upper lids.
12:15 to 12:45pm: Follow up with female patient on Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and Septoplasty.
12:30 to 1pm: Follow up with female patient, model, age 29. Patient had Liposuction and Rhinoplasty.
