'Minette'

For long now, one of my relatives asked me a painting with this cat: it's been in the family for quite a long time, and has become quite a character... 
I went for this pastel: couldn't paint one without the other... If the cat is unsettled, and always 'ready to go', it also has a strong (almost protective) relationship with its owner.

Decided to go for overall blue tone: the cat is gray... and gray is a challenge, as absorbing all colors and lights. It was really difficult to find some pictures with defined values.
