Mikill, The Master ...

Last night The Dingwalls in Camden held host to an array of different talents. We've seen Mr Pane before, and unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances (the pub), we weren't able to catch the support acts. We assume they were incredible, though we can't say from what we've heard of them already, that we are as in love with their material as we are Mr. Pane's.
Mikill, The Master ...DJ WillPower was Mikill's hit maker for the night, and a quality job he did too. Time after time, song after song, he knew exactly when to scratch, exactly which way to go, and despite us not thinking this, all in all, was quite as good as Mikill's gig at The Sebright Arms, he really made them an incredible pair that could bounce off one another with ease.
Mikill, as always, had an unstoppable presence that lead everyone in the room to go crazy. With each hit he swindled across, everyone would rap along, and with each song that passed, you could see just how much this almighty man had grown in the short space of a year.
The reasoning we had for it not quite being as incredible as the first time were really hard to come by to be honest. It could well have been that a DJ supplied the sounds rather than a band; but it could have been that the intimacy of it all was not quite as prevalent; or even that we'd simply seen it before ... but despite this niggling feeling, we'd be more than happy to see this gent again. He is more than capable of keeping a crowd hanging on, more than capable of making and delivering an incredible track, and more than capable of making a gig worth it.
Keep 'em coming Mikill, we'll be waiting for more amazement!
Paul.
