Middle of the Week Update (Finished Page 1!)

Hope your week is going well blog friends.  Still busy with work and not making as much progress as I would like to in either reading or crafty pursuits, but the job is going well and all around I’m satisfied with life.

I do have a picture of the HAED project to show you (especially since I forgot a picture on Monday)

I’ve finally finished page one of the Leo design! Only…19 pages left to go.  Even though it doesn’t look like there’s a lot of progress I’m so, so pleased with the way this pattern is turning out.  The different shades are blending together to create the perfect night sky combined with the effect of the stars.  They actually look luminescent with the combination of whites and blues and yellows.  I just wish I could stitch faster so I could see the piece come together faster.

What crafty projects are the rest of you working on this week? Anything interesting?

Still reading the same book so not much to share on that front (although I checked out the author’s website and it turns out she’s not from my town which explains why it’s written by someone who has never lived in my city a day in their life).  So that’s one mystery solved.  Now if only I can get to the solution of the more exciting (and fictional) mystery I’m reading
