Good morning bloggers. I actually have some spring break fueled progress to show you today.
I wasn’t able to get the whole page done like I’d hoped, but I did get three full columns done, so that’s about half the page. I’m not sure if you can pick the spot where I got the colors wrong and couldn’t undo it. It’s on the right hand side of the first unfinished star. Luckily now that I have a lot more done it blends in well with the darker color of the other page and doesn’t look quite as out of place. So I’m going to call it an overall success and stop worrying about it. It’s hard to tell that I’ve gotten as much done as I have because I’m using 26-ct cloth so progress might be going quickly (for me) but the actually picture still hasn’t started to form. As pretty as the sky is I’m reading to start seeing the picture take shape.
I’m thinking about working down instead of across once I’ve finished with the next page, but who knows what I’ll decide when I get there. At least I know what symbols mean what colors for the blue. I don’t even want to think about the yellows and greens…
I was going to post a picture of what the pattern looks like but I couldn’t find it quickly on HAED so I guess you’ll just have to wait until it’s finished to see what it’s supposed to look like.
