Mexican Spiced Hot Chocolate for #christmasweek #freund

Welcome to Day #5 of Christmas Week, a multi-blogger event co-hosted by Kim of Cravings of a Lunatic and Jen from Juanita’s Cocina! Each day we will be celebrating the holidays with a different set of Christmas-themed treats, as well as a fabulous Christmas giveaway.

We hope you enjoy this fabulous event.

Tune in each day starting today, Monday, December 9th and ending Saturday, December 14th.

The hot chocolate I am posting today is rich in chocolate and has a bit of a kick because of the chipolte powder. I know it sounds like a strange combination, but  believe it or not it really works here. The Aztecs made this hundreds of years ago and we still enjoy it today.

Besides now is the best time to enjoy this treat. Now that winter has arrived in its full glory, we need to be prepared.  So to keep the chill at bay and to get a little extra kick , enjoy this delicious  cocoa.

You will be glad you did, and your whole body from head to foot will thank you also.
