Yes, that’s 3 names for the same village. The first one is the Romanian name, the second the German version and the last one Hungarian. Most of these villages have indeed kept their original German name and you happen to be in a region where the majority of the population is Hungarian (more about that later). Hence the 3 names.
The villages with the fortified churches are easy to find because there are more than enough road-signs. However, getting there by car is somewhat challenging: most of these churches can only be reached via unpaved roads. Or only on foot. But it is really worth it!
Mesendorf is also part of Viscri and is located a couple of kilometers away from Crit.
