Meeting Old Friends

By Saltykisses @svprili

this post is dedicated to Sharon and Craig(y).

We met Sharon and Craig up in Newfoundland last summer. We spent a few days sailing with them until they headed home and we went around the tip to St. Johns. We’ve been keeping in touch via email knowing that they would be making their

way down to the BVI’s this winter. Lucky for us we caught up with them Jose Van Dyke after we cleared customs. You meet such colourful and different people when you’re out sailing then you would in your hometown working 9-5. Craig and Sharon made our first week in the BVI’s memorable, thanks “boy”.

We hope to see them again when we sail north in Summer 2015.

Big hugs and kisses, we miss you guys. I’m still trying to finish the gigantic bag of cheese burger kettle chips.

Carl does look big and brave but he did chicken out of the jump and said that he would have to try it again when there were some men folk around to pressure him.

This geeky hat is HORRIBLE in the wind so it is now going to be our new light shade in the cockpit.

Lego washing day, trying to burn off some of the red sugar drink Craig bought the girls. We like to call it CRAZY juice!!

This was taken today at the Nanny Cay pool. Poor little boy just couldn’t take all the poolside action. What a great kid.

As I write this we are sweating it out at Nanny Cay Marina. It likes to rain about 8 times a day (including nights), seriously!!! I am now a dress size below my pre baby weight, I put it down to the sauna conditions. We are here to pick up a few odds and ends and food. Wish there was anchoring at Nanny Cay, can’t stay long, too expensive.
