Media for the Middle of Your Week: In the Flesh

By Crossstitchyourheart @TMNienaber

Today’s media for the middle of the week is: BBC mini series In the Flesh

A new take on the zombie genre (I can see you groaning now, but wait, it’s different, I swear) the war between zombies and humans is over.  In fact, humanity has found a cure for those afflicted with the zombie disease.  Not only does this mean that zombies can be rehabilitated, it means that people are getting a second chance.  The dead have come back to life as zombies, but now they’re just people, getting back to their old lives and getting a second chance.

The premise alone is interesting, but throw in some family drama, people who hate zombies (rehabilitated or not), and a drug of unknown origin that can reverse the affects of the cure, dash in some humor, and this mini series is a winner.

Problem?  I only got to see episode 1 and now I can’t find it to stream anywhere and they haven’t played repeats on BBCA.  So, if anyone knows where I can get a hold of the rest of this series to finish it up please, please, please, let me know in the comments.
