At the beginning of the month I was finding that my MAC fluidline was running a bit dry. Lately I've been trying to find cheaper alternatives to my favorite beauty products. This isn't to say I'm not loving my high end products but my bank balance certainly isn't. So on a little shopping trip I thought I would try out a new eye liner. I find pencil liners just don;t have the staying power I need and as we all know eyelids are one of the most oiliest areas so I found that this was also contributing to liner just not staying put. And as much as I love liquid liner when I'm getting ready for work at 3am in the morning I just don't have the patience or time to use liquid. So I thought I would try another gel liner.
Onto the actual product. I picked up the Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Liner and my first thought was I loved that it comes with a brush so your all ready to use it straight away. And i'm actually preferring this product to my MAC fluidline purely for the brush. I am constantly trying to perfect the winged catliner look and almost found it impossible with anything I've tried before until I got hold of this little beauty. I'm not quite sure what it is exactly that makes it so much easier with this product but I tried it out (even at 3am in the morning) and got success. It's obviously not perfect yet but I'm definitely on the road to perfection! It's lasting power is amazing, from applying at 3am to removing my makeup usually about 5pm I've found it's lasted the full 14 hours. Definitely a 10/10 product.Instagram / Twitter / Bloglovin'
