DENIM DASH
Let's start off with the one I absolutely love! Denim Dash, one of the most popular shades in the Color Show collection completely bowled me over!
Shade: Denim Dash is a true blue denim shade with blue glitter. There seems to be silver glitter when looked at, in the bottle but when applied, only the blue glitter is visible. The polish is loaded with blue glitter!
Texture: Perfect consistency; neither too thick nor runny.
Finish: Opaque and sets as a soft matte.

Coverage: One coat gives a semi-opaque coverage. In the picture below I've applied two coats for 100% opacity.
ApplicationDespite the glitter this one is easy to apply! It goes on easily and since it isn't too runny nor thick, there is a control over application. The glitter isn't gritty either. Drying time: There really wasn't much of a time gap between the application of the first and second coat. By the time I finished applying the polish on the fifth finger, the first finger was all set for a second coat!Staying power: It stayed on for 4 days without a top coat. With a top coat it lasted 6 days!
Suitable forAny occasion! I would wear it anywhere and everywhere!!

Thumbs Up for:
  • Price
  • Staying power is impressive
  • Easily available
  • Although it requires two to three coats for an opaque coverage, it sets as a matte quite quickly!
Thumbs Down for: NOTHING!!

Maybelline Color Show Denim Dash

NOTD - Maybelline Color Show Denim Dash

Rating: 5/5CRAZY BERRYCrazy Berry is one shade that drove me crazy (in a not so good way!). I bought it solely because of the color but it failed in every other aspect! Shade: Crazy Berry  is a grape purple shade.

Texture: Very very thick!!
Finish: Sets gel-like yet patchy

Coverage: Semi-opaque. Patchy in a few areas. Two coats almost give it a full coverage but is patchy again.
Application: I had the toughest time with this one!! However neatly I try applying Crazy Berry,  it looks uneven and patchy!! It bleeds into the sides of you nails too!!Drying time: A lot slower than the other Color Show nailpolishes. You can spend the time watching Gary whip up his souffle on Masterchef!!Suitable forThe color, a gorgeous deep grape purple would look great for a night out or for the autumn season but considering the consistency and finish, I don't think I would recommend this!

Rating: 2/5 (for the price and color!)Final Word: While Denim Dash is a must have, I would not recommend Crazy Berry unless the color fascinates you!
