The Maybelline Color Sensational Eyeshadow Palette is packed in a cardboard box which gives illustrations on how to use the eyeshadows and other necessary details. The packaging itself looks amazing with the metallic detailing and diamond like cuts on the palette. It also comes with a double ended sponge applicator which might be useful for touch ups.

Texture
The new Maybelline 3D Eyeshadow palette is creamy and softbut not overly creamy, it feels kind of dry in texture, The shimmery shades are definitely a bit better in texture but the dark brown and the 3D top coat could have been more better. There are very minute fall outs but it does apply well and blends fine. I like using a damp eyeshadow brush to pack the color on my lids or use a good eyeshadow base underneath to make the colors pop.

Staying Efficacy
Maybelline 3D Eyeshadow palette in Topaz Gold is best in terms of staying power. They stay put for 5 hours with an eyeshadow primer underneath. You can even use it on top of a cream eyeshadow to enhance the lasting power.

Pigmentation
Most of the shades from the palette are well pigmented and are not highly saturated. It does require some effort for the color to show up properly on the lids and 3D top coat barely shows up even when used with a damp brush.

This is a beautiful palette with warm toned colors that are perfect for everyday and office wear. This palette contains a mix of gold, copper and deep brown. The colors are perfect for the Indian complexion. You can create multiple ethnic, festive or everyday neutral look using this palette. This is a decent eyeshadow palette for the beginners.
