Sorry I have been a little M-I-A this week. I had eye surgery last Friday, and honestly haven’t been able to stare at a bright computer screen for a few days! But, I am feeling much better now. My surgery was actually in Boston, so I got to recuperate for a few days after surgery and visit with one of my besties, Amelia of Colour-Bloc, and do a little shopping and sight seeing as I started to feel better. I loved being able to wear sweaters and long sleeves for a few days – it was soooo refreshing! Some of my highlights in Boston were: staying at the Fairmont Copley Plaza (the service was impeccable), visiting with Amelia for many lunch + dinner dates (love Flour Bakery!!), shopping at the Rag & Bone store + Club Monaco (both had so many great fall finds), Lobster Rolls from Met Back Bay, taking my grandmother on a trolley tour, visiting the new Warby Parker on Newbury (+ getting 2 new pairs of sunnies), and getting a blow out at Blo. Another great treat to my trip was a birthday present that Amelia gave me – the kate spade new york “things we love” coffee table book. This gift was very well thought because next Thursday, I am co-hosting the launch party of the new kate spade new york store in Savannah! See details for the event below and mark your calendars!
