Mark Wahlberg, who was last seen in adult-comedy “Ted”, has been roped in to play the lead in the fourth installment of Michael Bay’s “Transformers”.
The 41-year-old actor has replaced Shia Labeouf.
“Transformers 4” is set to release June 27, 2014.
Bay, who has successfully helmed the all parts to date in the franchise, is set to start filming for the fourth part, which will be produced by Paramount Pictures, in 2013.
