This week I saw a manicure that almost looked like it was a white base with coppery glitter over it. Whether that's what I saw or not, I decided that I had to find a combination close to it for my mani this week! The white was easy. I just chose my favorite white formula, "Feathered" from OCC. Great white. Not terribly streaky, pretty opaque and it covered in two coats. A white in two coats! Good Stuff!
Now for the coppery bits. I didn't want traditional glitter, but more of a shred glitter. The best thing that I could find in my hoard of polishes was "Maria-Luisa" from Zoya. Pretty much nailed it with that one! It's a shred glitter with kind of an orangey-gold tone in a clear base. It applied a bit heavier than I expected, so the first two nails are a bit more than I was after, but I didn't have the time or the patience to redo them. Overall, I'm quite happy with the result! "Maria-Luisa" is definitely a fantastic topper for Fall with it's warmer gold shreds. I may be pulling this out again soon! (And if you are unaware, Zoya is currently doing their "Exchange" promotion again for 50% Off polishes with the code "HAPPY". Check out the details on their site here.)
Hope you've enjoyed this week's mani and I shall be back Wednesday with a Fall-related post! Eeek!
