My nails have been battered and beaten down this week. Thank
you unmovable room diffuser cork! So, if my nails seem awfully short, they are!
And both thumbs hurt. One must persist with polish though, so today I have Frenzy Polish in “Hope is Stronger Than Fear.” I recently received an order from Frenzy and this was the first polish I
decided to try. It’s a beautiful denim blue crelly that is such a unique base
color to begin with, but there’s more! It’s speckled with glitter and metallic
shreds. The glitters are quite fine and appear to be turquoise, blue and
fuchsia, while I just see fuchsia shreds in the bottle (none really transferred
to my nails). Maybe there are some smaller blue shred as well. Point is –
there’s a lot going on in there! For all that you see going on in the bottle,
it didn’t translate very well onto my nails. It’s definitely there, it just
gets lost in the beautiful sea of blue.
One coat of polish was a bit sheer, but even. It covered
pretty well in 2. I went for 3, which deepened the color a bit and ensured that
it would look even in photos. I probably would have left it at 2 normally. It did dry a bit dull, so I added my Seche
Vite topcoat. I always add a topcoat just for drying reasons, but this one
needs it for shine too. Overall, it’s a beautiful polish. I wish I could see
all of the metallic sprakliness that’s going on in the bottle, but alas some
things just don’t transfer well to the nails. I still really love the color, so
this is a win in my book. J
