For someone who paints their nails every week, I have really been failing at sharing my nail art moments. Well today I have an easy peasy nail art design that doesn't require ANY tools. Just two different color polishes. This is the first time I have tried this technique. Originally when I went to change my polish, I was settling on just one color. After waiting for my nails to dry, I realized I needed to jazz it up a bit. I'm not sure why but I really just can't have simple nails. It makes me crazy.
I started with Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri Polish in"Re-teal Therapy" as my base coat. I love these polishes from Sally Hansen because the formula is amazing and easy to use BUT they also dry so fast. Fast drying nails is a plus when doing nail art because you are less likely to smudge.
Moving on.....
After letting them dry for a few minutes I used Sally Hansen's Patent Gloss Polish in "Slick". I started in the corner of my nail bed and made a half oval to the top. I did it with one swipe then filled in the half moon-ish shape.
