Hello makeupholics!Makeup Revolution London has more neutral palettes in their collection, hence when I saw this colorful palette in their website, I couldn’t resist myself and immediately ordered one for myself. I received my order in 19 days and since then I have been playing around with the colors and tried to do a look for each color scheme in the palette, just to get feel out of it.

Makeup Revolution Mermaids Forever Eye shadow palette comes in a bright metallic turquoise outer packaging that contains all the details needed, like, price, ingredients, etc. The palette contains 4 rows of eye shadows in a rectangular glossy black sturdy case with a large mirror and a plastic inlay with shade names on it. The lid closes with a click and wouldn’t open up while traveling.

Texture & PigmentationThe overall quality of the palette is pretty great with most of the shades being buttery smooth and richly pigmented. Out of the 32 shades, only 8 shades were slightly par with a chalkier texture and poor pigmentation. The rest were a dream to work with – great texture, very easy to blend and no fall-outs. The eye shadows wore quite well with primer on, and one can barely notice and creasing or fading for over 8 hours of wear. Most of the shades in the palette have metallic or pearly finish and I miss matte :(
The color selection is a dream for those who like playing with colors and can carry both bright and neutral eye shadows. I would have given a perfect 5/5 rating if there haven’t been 8 under performing shades in the palette. Makeup Revolution London palettes are great value for money and this one doesn’t disappoint either!
