Hair & Beauty Magazine
I thought I would take a look back at 2015 and see what my most used beauty products where, and looking through them I can see why they have become my favourites! I wasn't really wearing a lot of makeup during 2015 much preferred the fresh faced look, but towards the end of the year I was in full swing of a full face again!
Lets have a look....
BASE:
As I said I wasn't wearing much during the year so the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream was my ultimate goto! Its really lightweight and just glides over the skin leaving it looking radiant glowy, something i've been loving and also does a good job at covering up my redness in certain areas.
The Loreal Nude Magique Blur Cream is hands down my favorite primer, I find it really evens out my skintone, disminishes my pores and fine lines with a blurring effect making my skin look flawless! One I will be continuing to use throughout this year also.
When I comes to concealers there was only ever one that stood out for me and that was the collection perfecting concealer, but low and behold that ha now been took over by the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer, I use this most for covering any dark circles and covers them it does, it also does not crease on me which is another win for me.
CHEEKS:
Not really a blush kind of girl but I have been trying to get into them more, CLARINS Illuminating Blush is stunning, peachy pink in color it gives a nice wash of color and like it says illuminates the cheeks for a subtle finish.MUA blush in cupcake is adorable gives a really lovely pink color and the formula is amazing, I have been reaching for this more on a daily basis and will be most probably picking up some more.
EYESHADOW/BRUSHES:
Ok so I have only just purchased MakeupGeek shadows after Christmas have been using them everyday since they arrived and I can see why everyone loves them, these just work well and the pigmentation is second to none. I'm not going to say much about them as I am going to a post on them soon, but they are good!
Why I never bought the Real Techniques setting brush sooner I will never know, amazing at setting the undereye or to dust the cheeknones with highlighter, used everyday I really need to pick up a second one cant never have too many brushes.. right!
The Morphe S11 is my everyday eyeshadow brush, lovely and soft it really packs color onto the eyelid its one of the best brushes I have used although it is a new purchase but it has just won me over.
LIPS/MASCARA
Keeping the lips somewhat netural I have been loving the MUA lip pencil in caramel nougat, I love pink/brown nude colours and this is perefect for me when I want a bit of something on the lips but not too much very much a handbag staple for me.
Loving these Clairns Natural Lip Perfectors, never been without it it gives your lips a nice glossy look without feeling overly glossy and the smell is incredible reminds me of candyfloss! Again I can see the hype with these and will need to purchase more as mine is running low as i've used it that much.
To make my eyes look like they have lashes the Clairns Be Long Mascara is the one, the plastic brush brush just lifts my lashes giving them a more longer and natural look, I have enjoyed using this mascara and it has been the one i've using the most.
