Maggie Holmes Design Team : You Are The Best Layout

Hello again! I'm back with a layout that is heavily inspired by the floral designs that you can find in Maggie's latest collection, Chasing Dreams. I have always loved using floral on my projects. And this time, I decided to combine a couple of floral designs onto my layout. A little bit of a 'floral arrangement' can create a fuller look to your layout. That also calls for a lot of fussy-cutting as well. My kind of therapy as a SAHM :)I began by choosing these 2 beautiful floral patterned papers, Garden Club & My Darling. Then I decided to go with this subtle-looking background paper called Keepsake. This patterned paper works best with the bright coloured floral designs & also the elements that I chose. As always, I will stick my photo first and slowly layer all the elements around it. For this time, I started from the bottom. I arranged all the fussy-cut floral and worked my way up. Added ephemera pieces and stickers as I go. To create 3D to my layout, I added foam dots. I love that the floral sticker and paper floral could work so well together. Just perfect!Adding animals like bird or butterfly on your floral layout are really fun! Hope you are inspired to create :)
