Maggie Holmes Design Team : So Fun

By Jcchris
My sweet daughter - Miss K and her best friend had a fun meet up during their school holidays. They went to play in an indoor fun park and had lunch together. It was indeed a very memorable day for her and her little friend. And as a mom who scrapbooks, I think it is important to cherish memories like these. And precious memories like these will last a long time.
Maggie Holmes Design Team : So FunI wanted to keep the layout simple but yet fun. I printed the photo in black & white and decided to use the pop of colors around the photo. For the background paper, I chose a b&w dotted patterned paper to match the photo. I also machine stitched the edges to create a frame. And also threw in some black and white embellishments to keep everything cohesive.
Maggie Holmes Design Team : So FunAdding embellishment like the black & white striped bow will sure bring out the texture and dimension I was going for. It looked really good with the rest of the colors too.
Maggie Holmes Design Team : So FunTo create more playful look to the layout, I added star chipboard stickers and also the scallop sticky pad to create a pattern at the top of the photo.
I believe with a little planning and some thoughts given to your project, it will sure ease the timing and also speed up the creative process. Finishing one project in one sitting is really satisfying especially when you are one busy mama! Haha.
Thanks for swinging by again! Have a lovely day!Xoxo Jessy
