Maggie Holmes Design Team : Proverbs 31:25

I have always loved Proverbs 31:25. It speaks assurance that God will always provide the strength that I need as a woman, a wife and a mother. I just knew I had to use this verse on my journaling bible. And I also loved this chipboard sticker illustration of this beautiful woman in the Chasing Dreams collection. She portrays a sense of confidence, always ready for anything and just loves being herself. That is just perfect! 

Let me walk you through the process. First, I spread some gesso onto the page. Then, I used the oil pastels to blend the colors together to create a dreamy colorful effect. I was making sure that the background colors would match well with the rest of the embellishments too. And I splattered some gold mist as well. Once that is all dried, I adhered all the stickers and worked my way from the top to bottom. And added sentiment stickers to fill the big gap on the right. Completed the page with brush lettering of the verse. I really loved how everything turned out! Absolutely loved the dimensions, texture and depth on this page!
