The photo of my hubby and our daughter inspires this layout. My little girl is a girly girl and she loves pretty things. And my hubby is manly but has a very gentle soul. He's so supportive and definitely the best! Our little girl adores him very much. With that idea in mind, I wanted to translate the traits they both have on my layout. I wanted to have graphic elements in my layout & yet still include feminine elements on it.
To begin, I did a background cut by using my Silhouette Cameo. I chose to work with graphic line cuts to represent the masculine side. I also chose black & white patterned paper for the same reason as well. For the feminine side, I included a lot of florals & pretty elements onto my layout + pink too (my daughter's fav colour)! I absolutely loved how the layout turned out. Fun & pretty at the same time :)
Layering around the photo is fun & will add interest to the layout as well.
