Maggie Holmes Design Team : Lovely

By Jcchris
When I discover a paper that I just adore, I always try to think of fun ways to create with it. The floral paper in Flourish collection totally stole my heart! So many different bunches of dainty flowers and what better way to showcase them all in a layout other than fussy cutting them out. Just a perfect way to highlight them on my layout. And of course the photo of my daughter & her bestie with Belle sure enhanced the idea too for my layout too.

I started off by fussy cutting all the lil bunches of flowers with the intention to layer them on top of each other. It was really a fun process to just sit & cut. Once all that cutting was done, I positioned the patterned papers. The blue stripe & bow were picked because my daughter was wearing striped dress and it matched the overall layout. Then, I went on with the floral arrangement at both ends. It was really fun layering and adding the floral as I went. Just by adding the paper doilies and the top and bottom of the photo sure gave the soft look & balance I was going for.
Maggie Holmes Design Team : LovelyTo create the dimension, just add some foam dots to the back of the fussy cutting. Add some blings to enhance too. Be sure to add some gold splatters for that magical touch!

I absolutely love the everything about this layout! Most importantly I love the fact that I could scrapbook this photo of my daughter's experience at Disneyland. Something to talk about for many years to come :)
Thanks for letting me share & have a lovely day!Xoxo Jessy
