Maggie Holmes Design Team : Hey

By Jcchris
Hello! I'm pretty excited to share with you today! I'm always a big fan of graphic lines. To be honest, when I saw graphic lines in the Shine collection, I was literally jumping up & down in excitement. As I was browsing all the awesome patterned papers- Dazzle Art caught my attention! I knew I have to create with it. It reminded me of mosaic :)
I instantly took out my precision scissors and started to cut the pieces out. I chose the top portion of the paper to work with (refer to the photo below). When I cut the pieces out, I cut them slightly inwards so that will create gaps for me to paste onto the cardstock. And as I was cutting each pieces out, I will immediately paste it down so that I will not forget the actual position.

Once I'm done with pasting, I sewed some of the cuts using the sewing machine. After that, I turned the design downwards (just as shown in my layout). Then, I begin to work with the title, photo and all the other fun elements, keeping in mind with the graphic-grid-line theme. Maggie Holmes Design Team : Hey
