I truly enjoy creating other projects besides just scrapbook layouts. I take it as a mini-break from working on a large canvas. This time I decided to make some handmade cards. To begin, I always look through the products in one of Maggie’s collections. Looking through the products I have allows me to use leftover scraps from when I make scrapbook pages. This gives me an idea of how much I have left to play with after I have made some other projects. Scraps truly are perfect for handmade cards like these!
These cards are fairly easy to create. I have a “simple sketch” that I sketched out in my mind while picking out the products. I decided to use the same patterned papers, a ballerina image and ephemera die-cuts. Using repetition on both cards surely speeds up the creative process. And they sure look pretty and cohesive too.
I love how the cards instantly looked classy with the ballerina images. Adding accent stickers to your cards is also a great addition. If you are wanting a fuller look, you can definitely keep adding more stickers and die cuts.Hope these cards inspire you today. Thank you so much for coming by! xoxoxo Jessy
