Maggie Holmes Design Team : DIY Embellishments

By Jcchris
It's really fun to create DIY embellishments. It doesn't have to be complicated. Something simple with a personal touch is wonderful. Just look around what you have in your stash, pick them out and you can create your very own embellishments.
The idea started with the Crate Paper Wood Veneer Hoops that I have in my stash. I was thinking it would be fun to enhance them by using the Shine collection. Those lovely bead tassels and standout stickers are just perfect.

I started winding the green twine randomly onto the bigger hoop and tied a knot over the hoop. Just be sure that you wind them tightly. Maggie Holmes Design Team : DIY Embellishments
Once that is done, just add the bead tassel & standout. Isn't that cute? Maggie Holmes Design Team : DIY Embellishments
There is certainly no right or wrong when it comes to creativity. Just play around or switch position until you are happy with your embellishment. Here I added another bead tassel & I love it! Maggie Holmes Design Team : DIY Embellishments
I created more variations here and it's certainly fun! You can use them on scrapbook layouts, cards and they made awesome addition on your gift packaging too! Maggie Holmes Design Team : DIY Embellishments
