Maggie Holmes Design Team : Bible Journaling

Hello again! I'm Jessy, and I'm back to share with you this page that I created on my journaling bible. I was so inspired with Willow Lane collection and knew I had to include all these beautiful elements on my journal. There were so many encouraging & uplifting sentiments on this collection. It sure spoke to me in many ways to keep myself going and to stay on to my dreams!  

I chose this Proverbs 31:10-31 as a reminder that I'm more precious, beautiful, loved - more than anything else. So much comfort to know that God valued me as a woman + as His daughter. What a great reminder to be the good wife & mom too!  That instantly made me grab all the lovely embellishments and sentiments that speak about beauty & being loved to be added to the page! 
To begin, I spread some gesso onto my page. Then, I lightly painted pink strokes at the background. Next, I adhered the gold vellum at the top and bottom of the page. And followed by the rest of the stickers to complete the page. Lastly, I sprinkled some gold mist.  
 This gold flower illustration on the vellum adds so much beauty to my page. Fussy cutting the flower was really therauptic. It looks so classy but not too overwhelming for the whole page. Just the right amount of gold. And those pearls are just perfect! Don't you think so?

Adding the foam stickers sure gave a little dimension to the page tho I always make sure that I use something flatter but the thickness was just nice! 

I just loved the fact that I created this page on my birthday, what a perfect time & reminder to strive better! And YES, you are highly treasured!
