MAC AW15 Beauty Trends

Hello Chicas! Today I'm sharing with you MAC Cosmetics' break down on the Autumn/Winter15 beauty trends. For this season, MAC revealed four key beauty trends that are not only strikingly fab but easy to replicate as well.

I was one of the lucky few who got to meet and see Senior Makeup Artist, John Stapleton, demonstrate all the looks during the Manila reveal. John was pretty awesome, he was super funny and very engaging. I learned a lot new tricks and techniques from him. Thank you again MAC for inviting me!

Anyway, onto the 4 Key Trends...

The look is rebellious- romantic yet dark. A cross between Maleficent and Juliet. This look's main focal point is a strong black lips.

Recommended products: Blacktrack gel eyeliner (eyes), Plum lipliner, Blacktrack fluidline + clear lipglass (for the lips),

2. Strength of Beauty

To get the look: Fill lips with plum liner, top with a mixture or Blacktrack gel eyeliner with a little clear lipglass. Pair with a winged eyeliner using again the Blacktrack gel eyeliner. Set skin with Pro longwear foundation for a flawless, velvet-y finish.

This "fresh from Aspen" no-makeup look is all about flawless-looking skin defined with subtle contouring and strong brows.

Recommended products: Mineralize foundation (skin), Mineralize skinfinish in Dark Golden (contour) Pro Longwear paintpot in Vintage Selection (eyes), nude lipstick like Kinda Sexy or any natural lip creme shades such as Beurre for the lips, Quiet Brunette Brow set (eyebrows)

To get the look: Set the skin with the Mineralize foundation for a nice, velvet-y finish. Lightly contour face (hairline, noseline, cheekbones, and jawline) with Mineralize Skinfinish in Dark Golden using a duo-fiber brush. For the eyes, buff in Vintage Selection all over the lids up to brow bone with a soft brush to give eyelids a one shade darker than your skintone color. Set brows with Beguile or Quiet Brunette brow set.

This is the sultry "morning after" look highlighting an imperfect, rocker-chic smouldering eyes: the " worn-in or rubbed off" eyeliner that actually looks better, sexier than a carefully applied version.

Recommended products: Pro Longwear paintpot in Vintage Selection and Phone Number eyeliner

To get the look: Apply Pro Longwear paintpot in Vintage Selection all over the lids then line with Phone Number eyeliner. Smudge the liner to achieve the sultry rocker chic look!

Revamped red lips, not the classic red reds but brick reds to match the 70s fashion trend...le freak, so chic!

Recommended products: Prep+Prime lip primer, Mahogany lipliner, Chili lipstick, Lipglass

To get the look: Line lips with Mahogany liner first, brush and smudge to make it look lived in. Next apply Chili lipstick then feather it out by pressing the color on the lips using a finger to soften the look and remove some of the sticky effect off. Finish off with clear lipglass just right in the center to make it look juicy and give it more life.

I think all 4 are easy to pull off especially the Strength of Beauty. Next week I'll recreate some of the looks so watch out for it!
