The new M Missoni advertising campaign for Spring/Summer 2015 was shot on the beautiful hot Gran Canaria island.Both the collection and the pictures are inspired from the remarkable Frida Kahlo, Mexico's greatest woman painter.
The backdrop for the fabulously colorful M Missoni Collection is the Cactus Garden, ideal location for capturing all the beauty of patterns, yarns and colours of a season where the famous Mexican Rose motif makes a strong statement along with other signs, and symbols of deep Latin American spirituality. Behind the lens, fashion photographer Mel Bles gave life to a fresh, surreal idea of femininity that reflects on the perfect performance of the Swedish model Emmy Rappe, who interprets the brand's distinctive and chromatically rich soul.Art direction was by Ben Kelway and the styling by Vanessa Reid.
