21 year old Lulu James is back with the release of her new EP ‘Closer‘, which serves as the follow up to last years EP ’Be Safe‘.
‘Be Safe‘ was a classic R&B record highlighting Lulu’s effortlessly smooth & soulful vocals, while ‘Closer‘ is a more upbeat electro track with pulsating rhythms and infectious beats. Once again, Lulu’s skillful vocal range shines throughout.
Lulu James has confidently staked her claim in breaking down genre boundaries and is currently leading the bandwagon for UK garage and R&B, while bringing elements of dance, soul and pop to the forefront of her records.
The ‘Closer‘ EP will be released April 7th and is available to pre-order from iTunes. The 5 track EP also features remixes from Brolin, Domzilla and Kidnap Kid.
With plenty of upcoming gigs in the pipeline, you can catch Lulu performing in Newcastle on March 8th, as well as supporting Jessie Ware and Laura Mvula in Shepeherds Bush on March 13th.
