This is probably one of the most interesting run ins with cops by an NFL player i may have ever heard of. "Louis Murphy 23, was charged with possession of a drug without a valid prescription, failure to obey a police officer and resisting arrest without violence, all misdemeanors". Early Sunday morning he was blasting music.
The officer than asked Murphy to pull over, which would be a normal request,. After the officer asked for Murphy's ID Murphy refused. The officer than continued to ask him while Murphy repeatedly resisted his orders. Harrison at this point tried to cuff Murphy but, he would not keep his hands behind his back. It than took three officers to get Murphy into the cuffs.
At this point it seems like it can't get any worse but than this is where injury is added to insult. Murphy agreed to a search of his Escalade. The officers than found a "non-labeled prescription bottle containing 11 individual pills later identified as Viagra,". Murphy could not provide a prescription for the pills.
I mean if your gonna have them i guess at least have a prescription. Because it is illegal but, it is a bit embarrassing at the age of 23 to have them. I still feel bad for the guy but, if he did not resit in the beginning it may have not gone as that far to them searching his vehicle.
