I know you’ll love this wedding Enjoy! Claire xxx
Kristy and Jamie’s UK wedding at Clevedon Hall
Kristy told me, “my stand out favorite part of the day was the speeches; they were very special — lots of laughter and lots of love”
The bride and groom: Kristy & Jamie Clayton
Wedding venue: St Andrew’s Church, Congresbury & Clevedon Hall
Wedding photographer : Joseph Hall – who was AMAZING!!!
How would you describe your wedding style?
Traditional and pretty. We had a butterfly & baby pink theme and color scheme.
We had a traditional church ceremony, our vicar was so friendly and sweet, he made it a really special and unique part of the day. It was definitely something to remember: with loads of funny jokes and he kept showering us with gifts! He also made made all our guests feel really involved
Which readings did you choose? Foundations of Love & Corinthians
Tell us a little about your wedding venue styling and details:
The venue was just gorgeous, when we first saw it we knew we had to book it! We didn’t feel the need to create too many additional details as the styling of the building and gardens were so elegant and pretty. Luckily the sun was out all day which made the setting even more perfect.
Invitations and reception stationery:
We ordered our invitations online from www.brideandgroomdirect.co.uk, a great site with loads of ideas and options – a top tip site for brides to be! We created our own seating plan board and gift box — which was actually great fun to do!
Wedding music and entertainment:
For our first dance we chose Beyonce’s version of At Last. Choosing was so hard as you want to pick something that has meaning to it! My husband on the other hand just wanted something he could dance to!! For the rest of the evenings music was decided to go with a DJ who was a friend of a friend – cheesier than we expected, but great fun!
What did you wear?
The groom wore black tails from Moss, with a baby pink cravat which matched our baby pink bridesmaid dresses.
My accessories were from a bridal boutique called Bridezillas, and the jewellery really matched the detailing on the back of my dress. My dress was also from a bridal boutique shop and was the first dress and only dress I tried on. It really is true you know when you have found the one.
Memorable wedding day moments
There were so many great moments throughout the day. We were so fortunate with the gorgeous weather, it seemed to make everything sparkle and shine! The vicar was superb and made the ceremony a particularly memorable time. But I think my stand out favorite part of the day was the speeches; they were very special — lots of laughter and lots of love.
Wedding day advice:
Don’t panic – I worried so much before the day, but when it can to it everything just seems to work out perfectly. There’s no point in worrying — Nothing could spoil the big day!!!
Recommended wedding suppliers:
