Today's "Love of the Day" topic as chosen by the lovely Louise is books. I couldn't possibly pick an all time favorite (it would take me forever to decide) so I've simply gone for the last book I read - "The Woman in Black" by Susan Hill. I've been wanting to go and see the play for years, and now that the film has been released onto DVD I quite fancy giving that a watch as well. It's a bit of a 'thing' of mine however, that I like to read the book before I see any adaptations. I suppose I just like having the chance to create my own versions of characters in my head without feeling influenced. Does anyone else have this geeky trait? 
Anyway, personally I think it's a really good read and would definitely recommend. You can see the synopsis here (save me going into detail over the plot) - it is a bit of a spine tingler though so if you're a nervous Nelly you probably won't want to tackle it whilst alone! Apparently it's quite a common find on the exam syllabus, so a few of you have probably already read it due to that.
